Our legal fees:


Fixed fees:


We work on a fixed fee basis. Our fees for standard individual applications typically range between £1,000 – £7,000 plus VAT at 20% and disbursements, depending upon the type of application, complexities involved and urgency of the matter. More complex matters will attract higher fees, but we will always advise you on this. Where the application is relatively straightforward it is likely that the fees will be at the lower end of the range.  Where there are complex issues, the fees may reach or in some cases exceed the upper end.


Disbursements:


Clients can expect the main disbursements to include:

  • Home Office application fees
  • Immigration Health Surcharge
  • Payments made to third parties on your behalf, such as HM Revenue & customs, HM passport Office or the Land Registry
  • Optional premium service fees for out-of-country applications
  • Counsel's fees
  • Fees payable to Courts or Tribunals
  • Fees of independent Experts or Agents where required
  • Travel and meeting expenses
  • Document Certification Fees
  • Other ancillary disbursements, including biometric enrolment, translations, courier and postage charges


VAT Notice:


Please note that VAT at 20% will need to be added to our charges and to some of the payments that we need to make on your behalf.


Timescales:


We will normally be able to submit most types of application within 2 to 3 weeks of instruction provided we have received all the necessary documentation. In urgent cases we can make an application more quickly.  We will advise you, based on our experience, how long the Home Office usually takes to make a decision on the kind of application you have instructed us to make.
